Working with inking in Sketchbook Pro. Not loving the inking too right now. While sketching works fine, any long or smooth lines get all jacked by my hands.

I’m sure there’s a setting for this. Maybe a “make more better art” box I need to click.

Sketchbook doesn’t quite have the stabilizer Sai has, but I think it has an line smoother (As in, it doesn’t slow down the pen as you draw, but it corrects your line after you draw it). I’m wondering if its worth it to draw raster or vector.

It’s still a fantastic program. And it’s free. (Just go to the autodesk student site, make some shit up (I used my old highschool pass) and.. voila. they give you links and licenses and tutorials up the wazoo.)

You can even flip the program between Pro and Designer (tho why would you want to when Pro has more features)

It even saves as photoshop files!

The only sad thing is that it doesn’t have a vector file format. I think it had ‘cad’. I haven’t really looked into it.
